Verification checklist
Before your first purchase from a vendor:
How to read reviews correctly
Look for:
- ✓ Detailed reviews (not just "good")
- ✓ Delivery times mentioned
- ✓ Quality comments
- ✓ How vendor handled problems
Be suspicious of:
- ⚠️ Many short, generic positive reviews
- ⚠️ Sudden increase in negative reviews
- ⚠️ Reviews that seem "bought" or fake
ALWAYS use escrow
Money is held by the marketplace until you confirm receipt. If it doesn't arrive, you can open a dispute.
If a vendor asks you to "finalize early" (pay before delivery) it's ALWAYS a scam. Even trusted vendors can "exit scam".
Always start small
Even if a vendor seems reliable, always make a small test purchase first:
- Make a minimum purchase
- Wait for delivery
- Verify quality
- Leave honest review
- Then consider larger purchases
Trust levels
| Level | Sales | Time active | Risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| 🆕 New | 0-10 | <1 month | Very high |
| 📈 Growing | 10-50 | 1-3 months | High |
| ⭐ Established | 50-200 | 3-6 months | Medium |
| 🏆 Trusted | 200+ | 6+ months | Lower |
⚠️ Note: Even "trusted" vendors can exit scam. ALWAYS use escrow.
