What is 2FA?
2FA (two-factor authentication) requires two different types of verification to log in:
Factor 1
Something you KNOW (password/PIN)
Factor 2
Something you HAVE (one-time code)
Why enable 2FA?
- ✓ Protects against phishing - even if someone steals your password
- ✓ Prevents unauthorized access to your account
- ✓ Protects your XMR funds
- ✓ Required for withdrawals on most marketplaces

⚠️ NEVER use SMS-based 2FA! It can be intercepted.

Enable 2FA on Flugsvamp 4.0

Install a 2FA app
Download Aegis (Android) or Tofu (iOS)

Log in to Flugsvamp 4.0
Go to "Settings"

Find 2FA section
Click "Enable 2FA"

Scan QR code
Open your 2FA app and scan the code on screen

Save backup code!
WRITE DOWN the 16-character backup code on PAPER

Verify
Enter the 6-digit code from your app to confirm
CRITICAL: Backup 2FA!
If you lose your 2FA code:
- You can NEVER log in to your account again
- All XMR in the account are lost
- Support can NOT help you
Backup methods:
- Write down backup code on paper and store safely
- Export from Aegis: Settings → Export (encrypted)
- Save backup on offline device (USB drive)
Troubleshooting
Code not working?
- Check that the time on your device is correct
- Codes are only valid for 30 seconds - wait for next
- Sync time: "Settings → Time → Automatic"
